Lexi and the Bleached Roses is an indie rock band from Austin, TX. It is fronted by violinist and singer Lexi Cardenas who puts forth her 21 years of classical violin training and years of live music experience to create a sound that bridges the gap between the old and new. Complete with vivid strings, driving beats, and a powerful presence, Lexi and the Bleached Roses are quickly making a name for themselves in Austin music scene.
In 2017, Lexi and the Bleached Roses released their debut album 'Sweet Desire.' Ovrld hailed the title track as showing off "a knack for heartbreakingly raw and intimate songwriting." Sweet Desire was also featured on KUTX's Austin Music Minute with Laurie Gallardo and CBS Austin's Music Monday segment. This album took the band on tour across Texas and Louisiana.
